Usually has a line in the summer but is pretty efficient with service. Offers a wide variety of flavors and toppings. Makes for a nice treat every once in a while.

The staff does a great job with handling the crowds that can build here. This location is the perfect location to put a Rita's, so it is packed almost 100% of the time. I give the staff a lot of respect in the way that they try and get you in and out of that line as quickly as possible.

What a great franchise. Best ice around, new flavors all the time. They just made a better entrance/exit from township line so you don't play frogger getting across the street while driving. Love going here.

Helllooooo!!! Only like the best thing ever. I hit this place up practically every day. I still can't make up my mind when I go. THey definitely get ya through the summer. I just had the blendini with banana water ice, vanilla custard and nilla wafers! Just like that dessert you get at all potlucks with banana pudding and nilla wafers, super yum!! plus the punch card is the greatest!! HOnk if you are hooked!!!

In a perfect world only mom and pops would be allowed to run food companies. Once maximum profit becomes an issue, we the public lose. With the demise of great Italian ice, the kind you would get when every candy store in south philly would dust off their hand cranked water ice making contraption the day after Memorial day, cut up fresh lemons, granulated sugar, not corn syrup. Set it out under an umbrella in front of the store, nobody blew their horns at the cars stopped in the street to run over and get one. They understood. And nobody got upset if there were lemon seeds. It was made from fresh lemons. And there wasn't an encyclopaedic listing of flavors. Certainly lemon, the gold standard and for the kids cherry and maybe a credible orange. That was it. Rita's is yet another case of an entreprenaur who has taken a popular item and exploited it. No argument there, they have done a good job worked very hard and deserve any success they might enjoy. But for those of us who know just how good Italian ice can be, made the only way great Italian ice can be made, a small batch at a time, they're not a contender. Their lemon is acceptable but still with an aftertaste that you just don't get with the great ones, their mango a perfect example of food as chemical concoction. The McDonald's of the water ice world.
